The video you will be seeing is actually a real-life version of the now-infamous GTA IV trailer. New Yorkers better watch out…
I think this is pretty well done considering that none of the shots used were intended for this.
CNET’s James Kim and family missing
We’ve received word that a respected member of our tech community, James Kim (whom many of you may know as CNET’s senior editor of digital audio), and his family have gone missing. As we understand it, last weekend James, his wife Kati (above right), and his very young girls Penelope (left) and Sabine (baby), drove from their home in the SF Bay Area to Seattle.
What terrible news. Like everyone else I have very found memories of James going back to his days at ZD/Tech Tv before Cnet. Hopefully everything is alright.

PS3 Campers Removed From Burbank Best Buy
Blue Shirt: There were twenty people. They had been here for four days.
Us: Wow. Last time I heard, there were only three or four people in line.
Yellow Shirt: Yeah, they had a rude awakening this morning. The employees told them to leave. Our manager. Our regional manager came over. They wouldn’t leave. So they called the cops.
That really sucks for them. Then again what the hell are they thinking? You’d think that Sony gave them a kidney or a left nut for there loyalty. So sad.
Half Life 2 graphics to look MUCH better on XBOX 360
The Valve team flipped the switches to enable graphics that were possible with XBOX 360’s triple core processors, and then found they had to send out their art teams to retake photos and such as their source images were too low res for the 360. It will be worth it to re-play this game on 360, ive seen the screens…its nice. Check out the HDTV!
How about we all wait and see when the game is released or until Valve themselves say word for word Half Life 2 looks better running on the Xbox 360.
Halo movie OFFICIALLY halted – Peter Jackson postpones it further
As was previously confirmed, both Universal and Fox did not choose to move forward with financing the Halo film under the original terms of the agreement. Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh, along with their partner, Microsoft, have mutually agreed to postpone making a feature film based on the Halo video game.
There’s only one thing to say: NOOOOOOO!

A lame ripoff that is exclusively for bashing microsoft and XBOX. The sony defense force loves ken kutaragi and his giant enemy crabs.
I can’t say enough how infuriating all this Sony versus Microsoft stuff is making me right now. I’m going to post later about my thoughts on this in full detail when my head clears and I calmed down. I still can’t believe someone actually registered that URL. AHHHHHHH!
Sony’s Shares Slide on Playstation 3 and Battery Troubles
Amid rampant speculation over Sonys ability to deliver ample supplies of its upcoming game console, analysts and investors sent shares of the Japanese giant slipping Thursday in response to lower ratings from a securities firm.
Just thought I’d get another shot in the side of the all mighty Sony while there down. All the luck in the world isn’t enough for them now.
VW Wardriving Commercial
In a recent Volkswagen Commercial, a VW Rabbit is shown driving aimlessly around a city looking for WiFi with an Apple PowerBook.
The look the driver puts on his face at the end when the other guy tells him how much the wifi connecton cost is priceless!
