XBL getting on-demand HDTV
Xbox 360s will be able to download HD movies, shows from CBS, MTV, WB, and more beginning November 22; no plans for larger hard drive.
Consider this a shot across the Sony bow, for now. It may seem that I am mostly Xbox centric according to most of my post here, but the sad fact is I don’t want to muddy up this space on the web with bad news from Sony time after time. “I hope your listening Sony”. Stop with all of the bad news and over promising.
Halo movie OFFICIALLY halted – Peter Jackson postpones it further
As was previously confirmed, both Universal and Fox did not choose to move forward with financing the Halo film under the original terms of the agreement. Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh, along with their partner, Microsoft, have mutually agreed to postpone making a feature film based on the Halo video game.
There’s only one thing to say: NOOOOOOO!
Street Fighter movie Announced
Hyde Park Entertainment and Capcom have announced a big screen adaptation of the popular video game, Street Fighter. Hey wait, didn’t they already try a movie in 1994 starring Jean-Claude Van Damme? This version of the film will focus on the game’s most popular female fighter, Chun Li, but an exact storyline is not being revealed at this time.
