Microsoft Announces HOMEless
With an 8-bit avatar uniquely customized according to each user’s preference, Gold members can pause Silver users’ games, reset their Xbox 360’s or trash talk through both speakers and Xbox 360 Live headsets with no option for the hacked Xbox Live user to mute the Xbox Live Gold member.
Yes! My salvation has ben answered.
I don’t want to go back to PlayStation!
After seeing countless threads on numerous forums and article’s all over the net about red light this and red light that, I find my self in a peculiar situation as my Xbox 360 has shown me the red lights. Of course I love the Xbox 360 to death, but not solely for the Xbox itself. Xbox Live is what makes Xbox what it is.
Now I find myself in a situation where I have to either endure a Xbox-less existence until this issue is resolved or go back to a platform without on-line. Yes, the PlayStation 2 has an on-line component, but it’s no Xbox Live. This is going to make what I do over on The Xbox Domain kind of weird in the process as well. Writing about all things Xbox without a working Xbox?
I am a gamer first after all, right! I have all three of the past gen machines, but I still can’t help but feel slighted playing a machine without the 360’s implementation of Xbox Live. Wireless is another thing that will kill me if not in the short, in long term for sure. If anything, having to actually push a button on the machine to turn it on and off will be the death of me as a gamer. As petty as it sounds, it’s not a luxury as far as I concerned anymore. I have my original Xbox still, so I guess I’ll have to move back to the cave man days for my gaming needs until further notice. I hope I make it out alive! I guess this will be my excuse to go back to Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess having only played a few hours into it.
Blue Dragon Takes Up 3 DVD’s on 360! Sequel Planned!
“Blue Dragon ships on three DVDs, making it bigger than any Xbox 360 title to date. According to Sakaguchi, the game required compression technology to fit onto the three disks. In uncompressed form, the game’s data takes up over 30 Gigs of space!”
I know, I know. “But I don’t want to swap disk mid-game”. Get over it. It wasn’t much of a problem on the original PlayStation or the Gamecube. So why the problem now? Laziness is the root of all evil, and this goes to show it for sure. PlayStation fanboys are sure to say I told you so, but does it really matter? If you can’t change a disk after 10-15 hours of gameplay, then maybe you shouldn’t be playing videogames at all and go outside. Blu-ray may end up being the standard in the long run, but don’t use it as a PR crutch because you know your customers are lazy. “I’m looking at you, Sony”.

Small Arms on Wednesday!
The highly anticipated Xbox Live Arcade title, Small Arms, will be available on the Xbox Live Marketplace this Wednesday, November 22nd. Featuring online multiplayer and one of the most creative achievements to hit an Xbox 360 title yet, it’s sure to be a hit.
Hell yeah. Super Smash Brothers what? I’ve been waiting forever for this game. Not to mention Gamertag Radio’s Godfree has been talking about this game every chance he get’s. Thanks alot for not letting me forget about this game Godfree.
Sony NOT responsible if your System Breaks from a Sony Download
“Also, something I forgot to mention in my initial impressions was that in the main legal agreement (which takes about a minute to scroll through) it states that if your system breaks from a Sony-created download or update that they are NOT responsible.
I’m not going to say that Sony is a evil company, but if this is the case then they are indeed an evil company. While Microsoft is usually accused of being evil because of there dominance and over whelming influence in the PC space, it goes to show that Sony hasn’t a clue when it comes to paying attention to the competitions mistakes.
Not even two weeks ago Microsoft sent out there fall dashboard update for the Xbox 360 that turned out to make some console’s unplayable after the software update was applied. Soon after Microsoft announced that a fix was on the way for those that had this happen to them. Now, in return Sony has been known for there multitude of updates for there hand held system the PSP(PlayStation Portable). So far there hasn’t been any widespread issues with the updates to the PSP as of yet, but if or when a mishap occurs with the newly released PlayStation 3 customers are surely going to be expecting Sony to fix the problem no questions asked. If not , then Sony is risking themselves even further then they have by the PR nightmare they have been in since E3 this past May.
If I were one of the few lucky one’s who bought or over paid for a PS3 on Ebay in the last few day’s I would be mighty pissed if I ended up with a non functioning machine because of an update by Sony. Of course if this was caused by none Sony sanctioned tinkering there would be no problem what so ever, but not an update coming from Sony themselves. I would then hope to have a free Sony fix for the trouble, right? Otherwise Sony’s got some explaining to do.
Halo 3 Mulitplayer Beta, TV Spot, And More!!
Perhaps the biggest bomb that was dropped today, the MOAB of press announcements, was the indication of a public beta for Halo 3 coming next Spring.
I said it once and I’ll say it again. Why can’t we just wait and see when the damn game is released? All of this anticipation for game after game is going to give me a heart attack. Never less, this is some much welcomed news coming from the industries kings of hype.
Hacking the XBOX 360’s HD-DVD for the PC
“Seems like Microsoft has unwillingly created a cheap HD-DVD drive, for any Windows user.”
Just let me know when it’s a rewritable drive, then I’m all for it.
A look at the PS3 and Xbox 360 side be side.
Here’s a look at the Xbox 360 with HD-DVD add on, as well as it next to the PlayStation 3. I most likely won’t be purchasing a PS3 until late next year, but boy would that look nice next to my 360. To bad the PS3 is bigger than the original Xbox. It’s no biggie for me though.

Gamestop can kiss my ASS! Atleast until tomorrow.
First off I’d like to say that I don’t like to or plan on ranting about certain companies or anything else unless it’s completely warranted. Unfortunately this is one of those times where I feel it is.
Gamestop can KISS MY ASS! Why? I won’t be able to play Gears of War until November 9th. What the hell is that shit? I know European 360 owners won’t get the game until next week, but hey I don’t live in Europe.
After giving up my soul to pre-order Gears of war in the first place, I called my local Gamestop where I called yesterday to only find out that I’d have to what until today. What’s the problem you might say? It’s today and I still don’t have Gears of War. I call again today to only find out that there has been a shipping error. I won’t be getting Gears until Thursday. The anger inside of me right now is unexplainable right now. Then again you might say go get it elsewhere. I thought of that to. I have called every other retailer with in reason that’s local to me to only find out that they wont have the game until tomorrow also. FUCK! The anticipation is killing me, along with all of the retailers.
To make things worse, every time I sign into Xbox Live I see two people on my friends list playing the game already. Since Tuesday I’ve been seeing Gears of war on my 360 to only not be able to play it. How maddening. One of the people on my friends list Thrills Killa has had the game for the last few days. I hope he knows how lucky he is. Put me on the PR list Microsoft. If I get your games in a timely manner I have no problem pimping it if it’s warranted, of course.
Update: Check out this post over at www.younewb.com for more. It looks like I’m not the only one ticked off.
Gamespot gives Gears of War a Spectacular 9.6
says all: Gears of War is an outstanding technical achievement, but in addition to looking and sounding amazing, it’s a seriously awesome action game.
I can’t say I’m surprised by this at all. I have been waiting for this game for a very, very, very long time. I wouldn’t accept anything less. The surprising thing to me is that 1up gave it a 10. Now that’s a shock.
